Don’t wear white after Labor Day. This is literally my favorite unwritten style rule to break. As a lifelong (and rather headstrong) Floridian, we make our own dress code. Just because it’s December doesn’t mean those Hawaiian button downs are off limits, y’all. For us, frowning upon wearing white garments beyond early September is just silly. Wear what you want to wear– and rock it regardless of the season. I recently wore these bright white jeans sightseeing in St. Louis, and of course, I ended up getting stains all over them. From grass to wine to ink, I was constantly reminding myself, “This is why we can’t have nice things.” I’m always so thankful that bleach is willing to literally clean up my messes. Since so many of y’all will also continue to wear white after Labor Day, I wanted to share some tips on how to keep white clothes white for longer with Clorox Bleach with CLOROMAX!

I was actually afraid of bleach for the longest time. I thought it would stain dark clothes in future washes, so I just shied away from it altogether. After a yellowish tint ruined too many of my favorite tops, I decided enough was enough and finally gave bleach a go. I’m so glad I did– and I use it every chance I get (even when a dark load is up next in the laundry room). Now that I’m not afraid to use bleach, I get crisp clean clothes every time they come out of the washer. Oh, and since Clorox‘s enhanced whitening power keeps clothes whiter longer, I find myself wearing white so much more often– and without fear of ruining my favorite new items. In case you’re hesitant to bleach your whites or you’re unsure of how to correctly use it, keep reading for detailed instructions!

I totally wear white after Labor Day, but I always seem to drop something down my front. I use bleach for other cleaning tasks, so it’s always in the house. I’ll have to get over my fear of ruining my clothes and try it!
