I think that having a staple pair of neutral sneakers is just as important as having a pair of go-to black pumps. Ever since my prep school days, when white Converse kicks were an integral part of our every day uniform, I’ve considered them to be a closed-toe Floridian necessity. For providing such a clean look that says a lot about your simple taste, they’re extremely affordable, which is good considering I buy a new pair every few months. They also look great with virtually everything– specifically jeans, leggings, and shorts, aka my desired wardrobe 99% of the time. I scored these white Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers from DSW, which carries a conveniently wide selection of Converse styles both in-stores and online, and I’ve basically been living in them since Christmas. For costing under $50, they’re a pretty dang solid investment for footwear that can be worn on a daily basis.
Who else essentially lives in their white Converse sneakers? I’m all for getting dressed up every once in a while, but, whenever possible, I’m a t-shirt, yoga pants, and flats kind of girl. Blisters and other avoidable podiatric problems? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Such a great outfit You can never go wrong with a navy and pink combination. I agree with needing a pair of white canvas shoes as a staple in your closet. Last spring I brought a pair of jack purcells and I love them!
