You guys, my best friend had a baby. She didn’t just have any old baby, she had the world’s most precious little baby girl. Her name is Summer Rose, and she’s perfect. Kyle and I moved to Columbia, Missouri in June, so I booked a flight to Orlando to meet Summer for the first time– and, of course, to give Ashley, what I’m calling, her “new mom” necklace. I’ve been slowly collecting practically every pink and/or unicorn-themed baby outfit I come across. Hence, I came prepared with three full gift bags of pink baby paraphernalia to meet my new miniature BFF. First impressions are everything.

I was nervous about whether or not I chose the right piece, but Ashley loved the necklace. Before I could even tell her its succession plan, she said, “Oh my gosh, I can give this to Summer when she’s older!” My heart was so full.
