Just like an LBD, every girl needs a classic black swimsuit. One-pieces have literally taken the swim fashion industry by storm, and after taking some time to warm up to the trend, I have to admit I’ve become a serious fan. I caved in and bought this Ella Moss stunner for my cruise to Cozumel and the Cayman Islands earlier this month, and I can’t say enough good things about the way it looked and/or made me feel. With the right style for your body type, black one piece swimsuits can be incredibly flattering and ultra sexy… without even showing your stomach. They take the stress out of being “bikini ready” while still showing off your best assets. What’s not to love?

Scroll down for my picks for the cutest black one piece swimsuits for all budgets and price points– under $50, $100, and $150. Unfortunately, my personal budget doesn’t go much higher than that (womp). Also, I’m a huge fan of colorblocking, so quite a few are a chic combination of black and white. Hope you see something you love!

Trust me, they’re amazing. I feel similarly– my body just isn’t what it used to be, so instead of stressing about getting washboard abs in seven days, I just settled on a black one piece for my cruise. Best decision ever– and now I’m sold!

I am loving this trend! I started wearing a one piece when I was pregnant last summer and I felt so good in it! I really like that embroidered one , so pretty!

Me too, girl, me too! One pieces are incredible for ALL body types; they’re just so darn flattering without looking matronly. I can’t believe it took me so long to jump on the monokini train!
