Zou Zou Boutique Orange Cutout Dress

Orlando may not necessarily be renown for its culture, but I can assure you that doesn’t mean we’re devoid of up-and-coming art, fashion, and designers. Our local boutique scene is pretty legit, and I had the opportunity to collaborate with one of my favorites, Zou Zou Boutique, for a fun chandelier and sushi-filled girls night with the Zou Zou girls and my dear friend | favorite designated “shoe lady,” The Shoe Maven. The Zou Zou girls hand selected coordinating outfits for us to wear, and I was so impressed with how they mixed and matched the fancy with the fun. Their type of styling is a true testament to how any outfit and color combination can look great on a body with the right accessories for a given occasion. Case in Point: I’m wearing a python jumpsuit in the middle of a shopping pavilion in a handful of the photos below. Enjoy.

Our first style pairing combined a gorgeous glove-fitting Clover Canyon dress with contrasting floral front and back patterns with Tonya’s adorable watercolor top and white jean ensemble. I had a really hard time willingly returning this dress; the reason why is pretty obvious. Love.

If you had told me a week ago I’d be wearing a python jumpsuit and loving every minute of it, I’d have suggested heavy medication. Alas, this piece proved me and my anti-snake pattern theory wrong. It elongated my body in all the right places and matched perfectly with Tonya’s super sexy LBD. I’m particularly fond of this pairing because it’s a clear example of how full jumpsuit-level coverage can still rival the sexiness of a plunging neckline.

Neutrals are always fun to work with… since it’s practically impossible to mismatch them. Who knew a black and gold (Go Knights!) bell bottom jumpsuit with gorgeous side cut-outs could look so great next to a clean patterned black, white, and green quasi-tropical dress?

And then there was orange. I don’t usually like orange, but I adore this dress– more specifically, the way it pairs with Tonya’s cute and casual embellished skirt and denim ensemble. Plus, well designed back cut-outs are growing on me, and this dress demonstrated the utilization of cut-outs for artistic– not tacky— embellishment.

What’s better than pairing neutrals, as previously mentioned above? Pairing geometrically-patterned neutrals, that’s what. My maxi dress was the most comfortable thing I’ve worn, like, all year, and I spent a solid twenty minutes gushing over the orange tassels in the back. Such a fun and clever use of color.

Side Note: This is what Tonya and I look like when we’re told to “change it up.” #modelstatus

And not to show blatantly obvious favoritism or anything, but Zou Zou definitely saved the best for last. This was a last minute lineup inclusion, so I went at it solo. White jumpsuits? I officially really really really really really like you, especially when you’re designed with stunning open back detail, have pockets, and are accessorized with long stone pendant necklaces.

Thanks again for the fabulous ladies at Zou Zou Boutique for showing me and The Shoe Maven the utmost hospitality and the cutest clothing in all of Central Florida. We had so much fun {literally} playing inside your very gorgeous closet.

Happy Monday!

Nice post. I learn one thing more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to learn content from different writers and apply a little one thing from their store. I’d desire to make use of some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a link on your net blog. Thanks for sharing.
