Yes, I realize it’s still February, but every year (without fail) I forget to wear enough green to completely eliminate myself from the candidate pool of possible pinchees. My friends can vouch for this; I don’t like being touched at all, so the painful act of pinching is equivalent to grueling physical torture, similar to tickling. Of course, this aversion of mine provides even more of an incentive for people to unjustifiably target me (rude), so this year I’m overcompensating with a pretty 100% St. Patty’s Day-approved Double Cross green dress from The Mint Julep Boutique, which, to put it plainly, is everything. Not only is it the most gorgeous shade of forest green, but the cut and design are incredibly flattering for any and all body types.

Unfortunately, I’m not the only woman to find this dress essential to her winter wardrobe, so it sold out on The Mint Julep’s website within a few days. However, it’s now available through SheIn for just $25! As for shoe suggestions, it looks absolutely amazing with tall brown boots, like this pair from Kenneth Cole, strappy wedges, and heels (for a cute holiday work outfit, as long as it’s not too short on you). Since we only have so many more days of less-than-scorching weather here in Florida, I’m wearing mine with brown riding boots as long as nature allows. Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!

Hey Courtney! I haven’t– my dress came from The Mint Julep, but they sold out of the dress within a few days. The SheIn dress is actually modeled after the one I’m wearing, and I’ve heard from a few people that it’s pretty decent quality (for the price). Hope that helps!

Despite always being considered an staple for women’s closet, and being the most preferred footwear by men for women (i tell ya!) fashion designers insist on messing with the knee high heeled boots. I’ve saw plenty of girls from fashion blogs creating outfits with past seasons boots, tagging them as OLD. I think boot models from around 2010 were the best and many fashion bloggers hasn’t found new models like those (Dolce vitta Wendall, Aldo Flosand) Believe me, men always will love you wearing classic high heeled boots.

Combining this beatiful and cute dress with those gorgeous tall boots instead of sandals or flats is something that only women who know of looking good knows. One of your best outfits.
