We’ve all heard of over-priced mini-mergency kits. Aside from their ridiculous price tag, they’re absolutely wonderful. The sole non-monetary downside is that they aren’t tailored for any of the important occasions in a young lady’s life. A prime example would be the day she’s asked to be Maid of Honor at her best friend’s wedding. When Ashley Brooke asked me to be her MOH some bazillion years ago, my immediate concerns were: 1. OMG what do I do? 2. What happens when I forget to do those things? and 3. How soon can I start planning the bachelorette party?

Aside from fulfilling just a few other traditional duties, the success of the bachelorette party completely lies in your hands. You want to ensure that every attendee, the bride obviously being your primary concern, is having the time of her life by preparing for uncertainty. Avoid stressful beauty and personal care predicaments at all costs with a cute DIY Bachelorette Survival Kit. For fast fixes and guaranteed fun for everyone involved, here are eleven items to consider providing for each of your guests.

The best thing about creating your own Bachelorette Survival Kit is that you can add and subtract essentials to fit your needs. For example, if the bride doesn’t drink, you probably shouldn’t include a mini bottle of champagne. The last bachelorette party I attended provided water and floss instead of nail polish and a Doubleshot. The choice is up to the Maid of Honor. The only item I highly discourage you from removing, especially in the heat of summer, is the Advil.

Not only is June National Headache Month, but headaches can strike at any time. Some of the most common headache triggers unfortunately include the essential ingredients of a well-planned bachelorette party: alcohol, staying up late, and (let’s be honest) excessive noise generated by a posse of rowdy women. Advil Film-Coated tablets can be used to temporarily and reliably relieve minor aches and pains due to headache, toothache, backache, menstrual cramps, and common colds. As the party planner, you can stay worry-free knowing that each of your guests has access to reliable “good time” insurance.

Oh, and since some of my favorite bachelorette items (mini bottle of champagne, can of coffee, etc) are a little more cumbersome, I like to assemble my DIY Bachelorette Survival Kits in gift boxes, although sturdy gift bags will totally suffice. You can find these exact gift boxes at Target or online here. Stuff the boxes with pretty tissue paper, tie a ribbon around them, add personalized name tags (or numbers). Your guests will literally light up when they see what you’ve made for them! Trust me.
