Tampax even promoted my outfit, as well as all of our other tweets with the hashtag #BeRadiant, on their large TV screen. I almost had a heart att-a-a-a-a-a-ack. Too cool!

My mama has always told me that confidence radiates both inner and outer beauty, and ain’t that the truth? Demi, an established advocate for Eating Disorder Awareness and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, openly discusses her battle with body image issues and her long road to recovery, and she has since become, in my opinion, the definition of walking radiance. She is confident, she is gorgeous, and she is such an amazing role model for young women. She also looks great as a cardboard cut-out.

Tampax has always been my favorite in feminine products, but when you’re surrounded by thousands of colorful sample boxes provided in the Be Radiant Style Booth, your affinity for their products only grows stronger. Plus, along with the samples came free-flowing information and tonssssof coupons, so I’ll be saving mad cash for months.

Hands down, my favorite display at the Demi World Tour, aside from the concert itself of course, was their Radiant Demi-Inspired Closet, which featured a collection of Demi’s favorite outfits, as well as her downright stunning red VMA gown. Literally, I was in fashion blogger heaven.

I knew beforehand that we’d get to meet Demi, but I had no idea she’d be photobombing my friends and me in — yes— a banana costume. When we first arrived at The Amway, we were surreptitiously escorted to “test out” the photo booth. Notice the difference in background? Ya, well… Demi was waiting behind the curtain, ready for the hilarity to ensue.

We also got to take a normal picture with her, too. Honestly, I can’t decide which one I like better. She goes down as one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and I can’t encourage y’all enough to enter the Be Radiant Sweepstakes (details here) for a chance to meet her, too, as well as experience VIP access at one of her upcoming shows. Literally, she rocks… both musically and personally. Lovatic for life!

The only word that comes to mind when reminiscing about the Demi World Tour is… phenomenal. My besties and I were literally jamming out h.a.r.d.c.o.r.e. to MKTO, Christina Perry, and Becky G, but when Demi hit the stage, we transitioned into full-blown fan girl mode. I’m in my mid-20s, and this was the best concert I’ve been to in a looong time. We danced to Heart Attack, cried at Nightingale, and belted our hearts out to Let It Go. Not only is she a great performer, but her passion for inspiring her audience through sharing personal trials and tribulations, in addition to her philanthropic efforts in Africa, is truly palpable. For me, music is all about how you make your listeners feel; gifted performers have the ability to infiltrate the hearts and souls of others and evoke emotion. Demi Lovato does that effortlessly.
