Every once in a while, I’ll see something online– something that’s 100% not my style– and I won’t be able to get it out of my head. This vertical stripe romper was one of those items. It’s one of Olivia Palermo’s Banana Republic Style Picks, so that didn’t hurt its chances of being noticed either. The stripe pattern is a really vibrant combination of navy blue, white, and fire coral, and it has pockets, so naturally I fell in love as soon as I opened the package. I ordered a size 0, and with a tie belt to cinch the waist, it fits perfectly. Also, have I mentioned that vertical stripes are a wonder print? Seriously, they’re probably the most body slimming, leg elongating, and overall flattering pattern in existence. 

I styled this vertical stripe romper with some nude LC Lauren Conrad heels and a sand GiGi New York Uber clutch— both of which literally go with everything– for a networking event in Tampa.
